Pangea Formazione is made up of people with a high level of scientific education, mostly coming from physics research.

Paolo Agnoli - FOUNDER
He has a Masters degree in Physics and in Philosophy. After his first experience as a nuclear physicist, he became a manager in several national companies. For many years he has been working on the theory of rational decisions applied to business management.

Francesco Piccolo - ADMINISTRATOR
Francesco has a PhD in Physics and he worked at CNR in the field of atmospheric physics. For many years he has been working on high level training for managers, and creating seminars and courses on the theory of decision.


Nicola Farina - DIRECTOR
Nicola obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He worked on many-body problems, neutrinos interaction and on the application of the Bayesian reasoning in the technological domain.

Fabio Priuli - TRAINING MANAGER
Fabio obtained a PhD in Functional Analysis at SISSA in Trieste. He has then studied applications of the game theory to economy, and problems arising in modeling car traffic flows and pedestrian flows by using fluidodynamics, while working as post-doc at NTNU in Trondheim (Norway), at the University of Padua, at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and at I.A.C. (Istituto per le Applicazioni del Calcolo) in Rome.

Maria Luisa Greco - ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Maria Luisa has a Masters degree in Economics and Business Administration obtained at the "LUISS Guido Carli" University and she has worked as financial analyst for a financial advisory firm in Rome. She also attended a post graduate master in management control at the IPSOA School (Wolters Kluwer Group) in Milan.

Desirée Gentilini - SALES and PRE-SALES MANAGER
Desirée obtained a PhD in Electronic Engineering at University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Her work was focused on fluido-dynamic models for charge transport in 3rd generation photovoltaic solar cells. During this period she had international collaboration with Chalmers University-Goteborg and Université Louis Pasteur- Strasbourg.

Cinzia Di Porto - PROJECT MANAGER
Cinzia obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome "Roma Tre " and worked as a post-doc at the Astronomical Observatory in Bologna, carrying out research in Cosmology. She decided to apply the expertise in statistic and bayesian reasoning, gained in her research career, to field such as risk management and decision making. She obtained a Master degree in Science journalism and is involved in science outreach, collaborating with "Planetario di Roma " and writing for the online magazines Galileonet.it and Sapiens 2.0.

Andrea Romualdi - PROJECT MANAGER
Andrea has a Masters degree in Physics. He studied statistical mechanics and complex systems and has worked on mathematical finance and risk management.

Filippo Orio - PROJECT MANAGER
Filippo obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", working on experimental particle physics. He worked as post doc at Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare and contributed to an international project at Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso. In this framework he specialized in data analysis and management, advanced programming and algorithm development.

Lorenzo Riggio - PROJECT MANAGER - DATA SCIENTIST
Lorenzo obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome Tre, working on experimental particle physics. He worked as post doc at Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare with focusing on data analysis, programming and complex algorithm ideation and development.

Giorgio Salerno - PROJECT MANAGER - DATA SCIENTIST
Giorgio obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Rome Tre, working on experimental particle physics. He worked as Post Doc at Università "Roma Tre" and "Laboratoire de Physique Théorique d'Orsay". During this period he specialized in data analysis and predictive modeling development.

Giacomo Scettri - DATA SCIENTIST
Giacomo obtained his Undergraduate degree in Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza",and his Master in “Physics of Complex Systems” at IFISC: Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems located in Palma di Maiorca. In the field of complex systems, is & egrave; Giovanni developed his expertise in sociophysics in of economic migration, testing gravity models and radiation on a geolocated Twitter dataset. He was also involved in the development of board games for pedagogical purposes, in particular for teaching through playful learning of elements of network theory.

Tiziano Abdelsahlin - DATA SCIENTIST
Tiziano obtained his PhD in Physics at the University of Rome “Sapienza”, working on theoretical gravitational wave physics. During this period, he specialized in analytical model development and bayesian parameter estimation.

Giovanni Ballarin - DATA SCIENTIST
Giovanni obtained a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics at University of Rome "La Sapienza", majoring in Inferential Statistics. He subsequently worked for several IT consultancy companies, mainly on projects concerning Neural Networks, Tracking Analytics and Process Mining.

Giulio D'Agostini - SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
Professor at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Giulio is an experimental particles physicist and has worked in the international laboratories of CERN in Ginevra and DESY in Amburgo. In his research, for many years now, he has dealt with probability theory and methods of data analysis mainly focusing on the Bayesian approach. He is the author of the book "Bayesian reasoning in data analysis".

Enrico Franco - SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
Enrico is a theoretical physicist of elementary particles and is a researcher at INFN. He takes part in UTfit (www.utfit.org), an international collaboration for the determination of the parameters of the Standard Model of elementary particles, using a Bayesian inference approach.

Julia Mortera - SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
Full Professor at the University of RomaTre and Honorary Professor at the School of Mathematics of the University of Bristol, she teaches the course "Statistics" in the Economics Department

Alfredo Germani - SCIENTIFIC ADVISER
Full Professor at the University of Aquila, he teaches data analysis and modelling. He is an expert of filtering theory, stochastic control and nonlinear control systems.

Filippo Alessandro -PROJECT MANAGEMENT ADVISER
PMP, Industrial Engineer- Politecnico di Milano. He teaches Project Management and Risk Management.
